Great to meet you!

Sometimes you know something is off, but it can be hard to tell whether you’re dealing with anxiety, depression, ADHD, changes in mood, or simply the cumulative weight of everything you’ve been carrying. You may feel constantly on edge, struggle to stay focused, experience periods of low motivation, or find that panic and overwhelm are beginning to interfere with everyday life. I provide virtual individual therapy for adults and older adults in Florida, with a focus on anxiety, ADHD, bipolar disorder, depression, and panic disorders.

I also support clients managing diabetes and other chronic health conditions when the emotional demands of illness, stress, and lifestyle changes begin affecting mood, confidence, or quality of life. As a licensed psychologist, I offer therapy in English and Spanish and strive to create a warm, collaborative space where you feel understood, supported, and empowered to make meaningful changes.

My approach to therapy

I believe therapy should help you understand what’s happening while also giving you practical tools to handle it differently. My approach is compassionate, collaborative, and goal-oriented, and I tailor our work to your individual needs, strengths, and priorities. Anxiety, ADHD, depression, bipolar disorder, or panic may be what brings you to therapy, but those concerns can also affect sleep, relationships, routines, motivation, and your ability to manage stress or chronic health conditions. We’ll explore how those pieces connect while staying focused on the changes that matter most to you.

I may use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy to identify and reshape unhelpful thought and behavior patterns, Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy to help you respond to difficult thoughts with greater awareness, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy to build flexibility while staying connected to your values. I also incorporate Motivational Interviewing when you feel uncertain, stuck, or ready to make changes but need help finding a sustainable path forward.

What you can expect from me

You don’t need to arrive with a perfect explanation for what you’re experiencing. Our first sessions are designed to help us make sense of it together. We’ll talk about your current concerns, personal history, stressors, strengths, and what you hope will be different through therapy. We’ll also make sure that my areas of expertise align with what you need and that the therapeutic relationship feels like a good fit. From there, we’ll create realistic goals and identify practical strategies you can use between sessions. You can expect warmth and encouragement alongside thoughtful questions and clear, solution-oriented support.

Progress might mean feeling less controlled by anxiety or panic, developing strategies that work with your ADHD, navigating depression or mood changes with greater stability, managing the emotional impact of chronic illness, or simply feeling more confident in your ability to handle life’s challenges. My goal is to help you build insight, practical skills, and lasting changes that make everyday life feel more manageable and meaningful.
