Great to meet you!

Many people come to therapy feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or exhausted. You may find yourself overthinking, constantly on edge, emotionally drained, or noticing that stress is beginning to affect your body through tension, fatigue, difficulty sleeping, or trouble slowing down. My goal is to help you understand what your mind and body are communicating so you can respond with greater clarity, confidence, and self-compassion.

My approach is collaborative, practical, and grounded in evidence-based care. I integrate Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), mindfulness, and nervous system-informed interventions to help clients develop lasting emotional resilience rather than simply managing symptoms. Together, we'll identify patterns that are keeping you stuck, build skills to navigate life's challenges, and create meaningful, sustainable change.

I work with adults experiencing anxiety, chronic stress, burnout, trauma, grief, depression, life transitions, relationship concerns, and adjustment to chronic illness or other health conditions. With a background in both health outcomes research and clinical counseling, I have a particular interest in the connection between emotional well-being, the nervous system, and overall health.

Above all, I strive to create a space where you feel genuinely heard, understood, and supported. Therapy isn't about fixing who you are. It's about helping you reconnect with your strengths, develop greater flexibility in responding to life's challenges, and move toward a life that feels more grounded, meaningful, and aligned with what matters most to you.

My approach to therapy

I believe meaningful change happens when we understand not only our thoughts and emotions, but also how our nervous system responds to stress and life's challenges. My approach is collaborative, compassionate, and practical. Rather than simply treating symptoms, we'll work together to understand the patterns that keep you feeling stuck and develop skills that help you respond differently.

I integrate evidence-based approaches including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), mindfulness, and somatic (body-based) interventions. Therapy with me is both exploratory and action-oriented. You'll gain insight into why you respond the way you do while learning practical tools you can use between sessions to build resilience, improve emotional regulation, and create lasting change.

What you can expect from me

The first session is about getting to know you, not putting you on the spot. We'll talk about what brings you to therapy, what you've been experiencing, what's most important to you, and what you hope will be different as a result of our work together. I'll also ask questions about your personal history so I can better understand the bigger picture.

My goal is for you to leave the first session feeling heard, understood, and with a clearer sense of where we're headed. Together, we'll begin identifying goals and develop a plan that feels collaborative, realistic, and tailored to your unique needs. You don't need to have everything figured out before you arrive. We'll work through it together.
