My approach to therapy

My approach to care is holistic, compassionate, and patient-centered. As a dual-certified Family Nurse Practitioner and Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, I recognize that physical health and mental well-being are deeply connected. I take the time to understand each client’s concerns, medical history, emotional wellness, lifestyle, and personal goals so we can develop an individualized treatment plan together. My goal is not simply to treat symptoms, but to identify contributing factors, promote resilience, restore functioning, and help each client achieve lasting wellness and an improved quality of life.

What you can expect from me

During your first session, you can expect a welcoming, respectful, and judgment-free environment where you have the opportunity to share your concerns and goals at your own pace. I will complete a comprehensive assessment that may include your current symptoms, medical and psychiatric history, medications, lifestyle, sleep, stressors, support system, and other factors affecting your overall well-being. Together, we will discuss your needs and begin developing a personalized plan of care, which may include medication management, supportive therapy, lifestyle recommendations, referrals, or other appropriate interventions. My goal is for you to leave your first visit feeling heard, supported, and confident about the next steps in your care.
