Adriaka Jackson

Hello, I am Adriaka Jackson, and I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in the states of Indiana and Florida. I assist individuals with effectively managing anxiety, stress, anger, depression, and drug/alcohol abuse. I believe that you are the expert of your story and that you have many strengths to overcome the things in life that challenge you. Together, we can identify what's not working and get you back to a healthy life balance.

I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), a goal-oriented talk therapy approach that allows individuals to effectively manage problems by identifying and recognizing how to implement a positive change in thought and behavior. I also use Motivational Interviewing by asking open-ended questions, using reflective listening skills, and affirmations to help individuals explore thoughts and feelings that will help them to identify their motivation for positive change.

In our first session together, we'll start with brief introductions, then dive into the specific challenges you're facing. This will help me create a tailored plan for us to work through in follow-up sessions.

Clients will identify motivational factors of change and develop needed skills to move in a positive direction of change in thought and behavior.
