Hi! My name is Adrian Chavira, I am a Licensed Professional Counselor, Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor and an EMDR certified therapist. I specialize in helping clients with addictions, anxiety, depression, trauma and attention deficit hyperactivity disorder. My clients range in age from five to sixty-eight years of age. My principle treatment modalities are Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT), Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR) and Parent Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT).

A bit about my approach to therapy

My professional approach to therapy is to listen empathetically without judgement and provide my clients with insight on human behavior. My clients learn more about their current self and the process to improve positive personal growth with improved social interactions.

My clients learn skills tailored to them to during counseling session to manage and progress during life's transitions. My clients plan to improve their emotion recognition skills with body based practices by incorporating various coping skills.
