Adriana Baumler

Hi, I’m Adriana, a Licensed Professional Counselor with a master’s in Marriage & Family Therapy from the University of Northern Colorado. I’ve spent the past 8 years working in an intensive youth and family program, helping preteens, teens, and families through some really hard seasons. I especially love working with teens, new moms, and high achievers who seem to have it all together on the outside but feel anxious or stuck on the inside. I see clients virtually throughout Colorado.

I think of therapy as a partnership. My role is to be a mirror, helping you see your patterns and strengths more clearly. I’m warm and supportive, but I’ll also be honest and gently challenge you when it helps you move forward. I draw from CBT, DBT, EMDR, and solution-focused therapy to build practical tools for anxiety and stress, and I like to bring in the strengths you already have, like your relationships, values, or culture. With younger clients, I often use drawing or creative activities to make sessions feel more comfortable.

Our first session is mostly about getting to know each other. We’ll talk about what’s bringing you in, what’s felt hard lately, and what you’d like to be different, and you never have to share more than you’re ready to. For preteens and teens, I usually start with parents and the teen together, then spend some one-on-one time with the teen to build trust. By the end, you’ll have a clearer sense of what we’ll focus on and whether we feel like a good fit.
