Asking for help is no small task. Whether looking to help yourself, your relationship, or your children, it can be scary to take that first step. If you are like many, you have probably been debating seeking help for months, if not years. I am glad you are here and that you have taken the courageous first step towards healing. I bring deep empathy, openness, creativity, warmth, and a sense of humor to the therapeutic relationship.
I believe that the therapeutic process can impact my client's ability to grow, heal, and reach their full potential. I specialize in trauma, eating disorders, body image concerns, sex therapy, LGBT+ issues, depression, anxiety, play therapy, and life transitions. I practice Humanistic Existentialism and believe it is important to assist clients in finding meaning and purpose. I also incorporate HAES and intuitive eating when working with eating disorders.
Finding a therapist that fits your goals and needs can be a daunting task. I highly encourage you to reach out to me if you have any questions about the counseling process. I look forward to speaking with you!
