Great to meet you!

Adriana Santiago earned a Master's degree in Counseling from Florida International University and Bachelor's degree in Psychology from The University of Central Florida. She has over six years of experience working with children, adolescents and young adults. Adriana has experience in the settings of community mental health, private practice, schools and a University based clinic.

My approach to therapy

She integrates evidence-based practices such as cognitive behavioral therapy, acceptance behavioral therapy and dialectical behavior therapy. She also uses a strengths-based and developmentally appropriate approach to tailor interventions to meet the needs in the areas of anxiety, depression, self-esteem, adjusting to life changes, mood & behavior issues, goal-setting and social-emotional learning. She describes her therapeutic style as supportive, authentic and insightful. Her clients and their families come seeking guidance for addressing unhelpful thinking patterns & behaviors, improving level of emotional regulation & self-care, increasing self-awareness & self-compassion, treating mental health symptoms related to anxiety & depression or simply craving a safe space. She believes everyone can achieve and is deserving of a happy and fulfilling life. She is accepting new clients. Spanish speaking parents are welcome.
