Great to meet you!

Hi! I'm Adriane and I have been a practicing LPC-MHSP for 10 years.

My approach to therapy

I would describe my counseling approach as person-centered, experiential, and "down to earth". I believe in looking at the whole person and prioritizing the most approachable and impactful solutions first. I often utilize DBT skills, mindfulness, psychoeducation and somatic work including my training in EMDR.

What you can expect from me

My initial session is spent getting to know each other and learn about your history. The research is clear that even the best therapeutic interventions are only as effective as our working relationship. I value creating a therapeutic relationship with you built on mutual trust, respect and transparency from the start. This translates to setting mutually defined goals, clearly setting expectations from the start and gathering relevant history from you. It's important to me that I understand what it is that you are hoping to gain coming in.
