Great to meet you!

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor- Supervisor in Texas. I have worked as a victim advocate, therapist and clinical supervisor in settings that include residential, inpatient, outpatient and criminal justice treatment. My expertise is with helping adults and adolescents navigate challenges with mental health, substance abuse/addiction, behavioral issues, depression and anxiety.

I'm passionate about supporting people during difficult moments and helping them recognize the strengths they already carry.

My approach to therapy

I offer a welcoming, client-centered space where you can feel heard, process what’s on your mind, and reflect on the changes you’d like to make. I draw from evidence-based approaches, including cognitive behavioral therapy, motivational interviewing, and acceptance and commitment therapy, choosing what best fits your needs and goals. We’ll work at your pace, and when it feels right, make room for humor along the way.

As a Latina therapist, I bring cultural awareness and a trauma-informed perspective to my work. I strive to understand how your experiences and background shape what matters to you and what support feels most helpful.

What you can expect from me

After learning more about your history and what's important to you, we'll identify goals for therapy together. That might mean creating a safe space to process your experiences, developing a treatment plan, or practicing skills for self-regulation. You're also welcome to ask questions about therapy, me, or my approach so you can decide whether we're a good fit.
