Great to meet you!

With four years of experience as a foster care, residential, and school based therapist, I’ve had the privilege of supporting children, teens, and families through complex emotional and life challenges. This work has deepened my compassion and strengthened my ability to meet each person with empathy, patience, and nonjudgmental understanding. I approach therapy with an open mind and a warm, collaborative spirit, creating a space where clients feel safe to explore, heal, and grow. My goal is to walk alongside you, honoring your unique story while helping you build the tools and confidence to move forward.

My approach to therapy

My therapy approach is grounded in creating a safe, supportive, and empowering environment for children who have experienced trauma. I use Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) to help children process difficult experiences, manage overwhelming emotions, and build healthier thought patterns. I also incorporate Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), a powerful tool that allows children to reprocess traumatic memories in a way that reduces distress and supports healing. By combining structure with flexibility, I tailor each session to the child’s pace and needs, always emphasizing trust, safety, and connection. My goal is to help children reclaim their sense of self and build resilience for the future.

What you can expect from me

Clients can expect to leave a session with me feeling heard, supported, and more grounded. Whether we're working through difficult emotions or building coping tools, each session is a step toward greater self-understanding and emotional strength. I aim to create a space where clients feel safe to be themselves and empowered to make meaningful changes. Most importantly, they walk away knowing they’re not alone in their journey.
