Great to meet you!

Whether you’re navigating anxiety, depression, ADHD, trauma, or simply feeling stuck, I’m here to meet you where you are and help you build on the strengths you already have. I’m a Master’s-level social worker with experience working with teens and adults in school-based, outpatient behavioral health, and domestic violence settings. I have a particular interest in working with women and teens, and I strive to create a space where clients feel heard, respected, and comfortable being themselves. I believe therapy should be a collaborative process, and my goal is to help you better understand yourself, develop practical coping skills, and work toward meaningful change at a pace that feels manageable.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is person-centered, collaborative, and strengths-based. I use Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) to help clients develop greater awareness of their thoughts and emotions while identifying the values that guide the life they want to build. I also incorporate Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and other evidence-based strategies when they fit the client’s needs and goals. Most importantly, I believe therapy should be a supportive, nonjudgmental space where you feel empowered to understand yourself, build on your strengths, and create meaningful change.

What you can expect from me

Your first session is an opportunity for us to get to know one another and begin understanding what brought you to therapy. We’ll talk about your current concerns, your experiences and strengths, and what you hope to get out of therapy, while working together to identify goals that feel meaningful to you. I’ll answer any questions you have about the therapy process and make sure you feel comfortable with the pace and direction of our work together. Most importantly, you can expect a welcoming, judgment-free environment where you don’t have to have everything figured out before you walk through the door.
