Great to meet you!

The first part of achieving your goals in therapy is recognizing what issues you are experiencing and what goals you want to achieve. My approach to therapy is to allow the client to express their needs and goals . While I will be taking notes, it is mainly to record your concerns without you repeating the same things over and over.

A bit about my approach to therapy

I use CBT which is cognitive behavior therapy which explores and explains how our thoughts affect our emotions, which affects our behavior. We will also use strength based therapy and solutions focus therapy. This is to encourage you to use the life skills you have developed to achieve solutions . At the end of the first session, I will encourage you to prioritize your goals you desire to achieve in therapy.

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who has been in private practice for 16 years. I work with adults who are experiencing a variety of life challenges, including but not limited to anxiety, depression, trauma both adult and childhood, relationship issues, and work related stress.
