Great to meet you!

Therapy is a collaborative journey of self discovery and integration. Its aim is wholeness. I draw on a variety of therapeutic frameworks (EMDR, DBT, motivational interviewing, strengths based work) to meet individuals where they are at and help them identify strengths and areas of growth in their life.

Together we look at how thoughts, feelings and beliefs intersect with our life transitions and relational patterns and how they contribute to our sense of well being, or misalignment. By uncovering the needs under our feelings, we learn to take personal responsibility for expressing ourselves accurately and authentically, allowing us to feel heard, valued and understood.

My approach to therapy

For individuals who have experienced trauma, I use EMDR to work through the negative self beliefs that limit our ability to live a healthy and authentic life. With couples and family work, I draw on communication skills which help untangle feelings and bring each person back to their core needs.

What you can expect from me

During our first session we will explore the issues bringing you into therapy, your selfcare, resources and challenges. We will set treatment goals and discuss scheduling and frequency.
