Great to meet you!

I am a Board Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner who works with adolescents, adults, and older adults experiencing anxiety, depression, stress, mood changes, and life transitions.

I am calm, attentive, and easy to talk to, and I take time to listen, so you feel comfortable sharing openly. I prioritize creating a supportive, respectful space where you feel heard and actively involved in your care.

I am doctoral-prepared (PhD) with additional certification in medical–surgical nursing (MEDSURG-BC). This background allows me to consider how emotional and physical health are connected. I also have experience as a nurse educator, which strengthens my ability to explain complex information clearly and help you feel informed and confident in your care.

My approach to therapy

My approach to care provision is collaborative and personalized. We will work together to understand what you are experiencing, clarify your goals, and develop a plan that fits your needs and your stage of life.

Care may include supportive therapy, practical strategies you can use day to day, and medication management. I also consider how physical and emotional health are connected to provide well-rounded care.

My goal is to help you feel more in control, more confident, and better equipped to move forward with clarity.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, we will take time to get to know each other and talk about what led you to schedule the visit. I will ask questions to better understand what you are experiencing, your history, and your goals, and you can share at your own pace.

We will begin to outline a plan for care and discuss next steps, including supportive therapy, practical strategies, and whether medication may be helpful.

My goal is for you to leave the first session feeling heard, comfortable, and with a clearer sense of direction.
