Great to meet you!

I’m a warm, open‐minded, and holistic Family Nurse Practitioner and Psychiatric‐Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, as well as a Nursing Professor and Clinical Instructor. My work blends clinical expertise with a deep commitment to teaching, mentorship, and helping individuals feel seen, supported, and understood.

I support children, women and adults navigating anxiety, depression, cultural or identity‐related stressors, trauma, chronic conditions, and major life transitions. My background includes a Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) from Rutgers University and a Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) from UMDNJ.

I’m dedicated to culturally sensitive, inclusive care for diverse communities, including women’s issues, LGBTQ+ clients, and individuals managing grief, infertility, or chronic medical concerns. Above all, I believe in meeting clients exactly where they are and creating a safe, grounded space for healing and growth.

My approach to therapy

My approach blends psychoeducation, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), mindfulness‐based strategies, and solution‐focused techniques. I integrate trauma‐informed care and humanistic principles to help clients feel understood, empowered, and supported.

I work collaboratively, honoring each client’s lived experiences while helping them build practical tools for emotional regulation, stress management, and meaningful change.

What you can expect from me

Clients can expect a calm, welcoming first session where we explore your concerns, clarify your goals, and begin building a personalized plan for care. I take time to understand your history, current challenges, and what you hope to achieve.

You’ll leave the session feeling heard, supported, and with a clear sense of direction for your treatment journey.
