Great to meet you!

I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in Virginia with a Master of Social Work from Virginia Commonwealth University. My professional background includes crisis work and extensive experience supporting children, adolescents, and their families. I currently work with active duty military members, which has broadened my experience supporting individuals navigating stress, life transitions, and complex challenges.

My approach to therapy

I use a strengths-based approach, helping clients recognize their existing abilities and use them to work toward meaningful goals. I enjoy connecting with people and creating a space where they feel comfortable being themselves. I also incorporate humor in sessions when appropriate because life can be serious, and sometimes we need space to breathe.

I believe prioritizing mental health is one of the most important investments you can make in yourself.

What you can expect from me

Clients can expect the first session to be a relaxed conversation where we get to know each other. We’ll talk about what brought you to therapy, what’s been going on in your life, and what you hope to gain from counseling. I’ll ask a few questions to better understand your background and goals, and we’ll begin identifying your strengths and how they can support the changes you want to make. My goal is to create a supportive, nonjudgmental space where you feel comfortable being yourself.
