Great to meet you!

I am a board-certified psychiatrist trained in child, adolescent, and adult psychiatry. I am trained at Harvard Medical School for General psychiatry and at the University of Chicago for Child and Adolescent psychiatry. I have over 30 years of experience in mental health services, and I have trained hundreds of medical students and residents from several universities, including the University of Chicago, University of Illinois at Chicago, and Midwestern University. I am currently the chairman of psychiatry at Loyola McNeal Hospital and chief medical officer at Streamwood Behavioral Health Systems, a premier psychiatric hospital.

I am pleased to announce the opening of Burlington Health Service, a Psychiatric Clinic in downtown Westmont, Illinois. I have openings for new patients for immediate service. More information and scheduling for patients can be found on our website at BurlingtonHealthServices.com

Utilizing advanced technology and evidence-based treatment, we maintain a private and secure communication channel with our patients while collaborating with other care providers to ensure the success of our clients.

My approach to therapy

My approach is based on trauma-informed care. I emphasize Respect, trust, transparency, Collaboration, and mutual decision-making. I will provide evidence-based treatment options and explain the unique risks and benefits. It is important for me that you communicate openly with and provide complete information to the best of your knowledge. My assessment and treatment options are as good as the information I was provided.

What you can expect from me

We have the opportunity to get to know each other as a person. When you feel comfortable, you can share your concerns and reasons for the visit. I will provide enough time for you to express yourself. I will formulate my possible working diagnosis and treatment options. I'll explain to you in the simplest way for you to understand. You will have enough time to ask your questions at the end, and I will provide the answers best of my ability. At the end of the session, my goal is for you to feel satisfied with the session
