Great to meet you!

For more than 25 years, I've helped adults navigate anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, life transitions, grief, stress, and the many situations life can unexpectedly place in front of us.

Clients often tell me they appreciate my ability to be both warm and direct. I believe therapy should be a place where you feel understood and supported, but it should also help you move forward. My goal is not simply to listen. It's to help you better understand yourself, develop practical skills, and create meaningful change in your daily life.

Whether you're feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or simply ready for something to be different, we'll work together to identify what's getting in the way and build a path toward where you want to be.

My approach to therapy

I take a practical, collaborative approach to therapy. Every person is different, so I tailor treatment to your needs rather than relying on a one-size-fits-all approach.

My work draws primarily from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Solution-Focused Therapy. Together we'll look at the patterns of thoughts, emotions, and behaviors that may be keeping you stuck while developing realistic strategies that fit your life.

I believe insight is valuable, but insight alone doesn't create change. Therapy is most helpful when you leave each session with greater clarity and practical tools you can begin using right away.

What you can expect from me

Our first session is an opportunity for us to get to know one another. I'll spend time understanding what brought you to therapy, what you've already tried, what's working, and what you'd like to see change.

You don't need to have everything figured out before you arrive. We'll begin organizing what's been feeling overwhelming and identify some initial goals together. I'll also answer any questions you have so you know what to expect moving forward.

Many clients tell me they leave their first session feeling relieved, hopeful, and with a clearer understanding of where to begin.
