Great to meet you!

Throughout my career, I have worked with individuals, couples, and groups. I have experience treating a wide range of concerns including anxiety, depression, mood disorders, psychotic disorders, ADHD, and sexual issues. I have also assisted couples with developing healthy communication skills, strengthening their conflict resolution, and rebuilding their connection.

I utilize various approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy, Internal Family Systems, as well as Rational-Emotive Behavior Therapy. While I tailor my techniques to suit the needs of my clients, the most important factor of my work is the therapeutic relationship that we develop. I value a dynamic built on trust, empathy, and collaboration.

My approach to therapy

I truly believe that we are all capable of overcoming any obstacle given the right tools to do so. While I cannot make any changes for you, I will empower you with the skills that you need to feel as though you can accomplish your goals. I operate from a strengths-based, person-centered perspective to meet you where you are, and help you to identify characteristics that can be used to help facilitate change.

What you can expect from me

Clients can expect our counseling sessions to place a heavy emphasis on building the counseling relationship. I truly value the importance of creating an authentic, engaging, vulnerable, and supportive environment. This foundation is essential for the bulk of our work, which will include gaining techniques to use outside of session, processing traumatic experiences, and learning how their previous experiences impact behaviors in their current lives.
