Great to meet you!

Something in you is ready to look more honestly at your life: your patterns, your relationships, your grief. I'm Ahuva, an LCSW working with adults through anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, and the weight of difficult relationships. My approach is collaborative and genuinely tailored to you, not a protocol but a real partnership built around your unique path.

My approach to therapy

I draw on psychodynamic therapy, trauma-focused approaches, somatic awareness, and narrative methods to help you understand where your patterns come from and what your body already holds. Sessions feel like a real conversation rather than an intervention: I am curious, I follow your lead, and I work with whatever you bring that day. My clients come with complex trauma, PTSD, grief, anxiety, depression, ADHD, and relationship pain. Over time they find that self-criticism softens, old patterns loosen their grip, and grief can be held with more tenderness than they thought possible.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, we spend time getting to know each other: what brought you here, what feels most pressing, and what you are hoping for. You do not need to arrive with a polished story or a clear diagnosis. I want you to feel genuinely heard rather than assessed, and to leave with a real sense that the work ahead is possible and worth starting.
