Great to meet you!

Hi, I’m Aïcha. I’m a trauma- and anxiety-focused therapist with Remote Therapy New York, and I work with adults who feel stuck in stress, survival mode, or long-standing emotional patterns. I believe our responses make sense given what we’ve lived through, and healing begins with curiosity rather than judgment. My approach blends somatic (body-based) work, attachment-based therapy, and IFS parts work to help you slow down, understand your patterns, and feel safer and more at ease in your own body.

My approach to therapy

My approach is collaborative, compassionate, and paced at a speed that feels safe and supportive. I use a blend of somatic work, attachment-based therapy, IFS parts work, and CBT/ACT to help clients understand patterns, regulate their nervous system, and respond with more flexibility in everyday life. Clients often describe feeling calmer, more grounded, and more connected over time.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, you can expect a calm, supportive space where we’ll slow things down and focus on what’s been bringing you to therapy. We’ll talk about your goals, notice patterns that may be contributing to stress or overwhelm, and begin creating a personalized plan that fits your pace and needs. I’ll also introduce gentle, practical tools to help you feel more grounded and regulated from the start. Many clients leave the first session feeling clearer, steadier, and more hopeful about the path ahead.
