Hi, I'm Ailene! I'm a licensed marriage and family therapist with a master's from NorthCentral University. I've been practicing for six years and enjoy working with parents, couples, and individuals. I specialize in supporting autistic children and their families, a population close to my heart both professionally and personally. My approach is warm and collaborative, and I'm here to help you and your family move forward together.

Beyond my graduate training in family therapy, I've also completed specialized training in EMDR (eye movement desensitization reprocessing), AutPlay, Gottman Method, and Autism Spectrum Disorder Clinical Specialty. Having autistic children of my own led me to this work, and it's shaped how I show up in the therapy room: curious, flexible, and genuinely invested in supporting each person and family in the way that works best for them.
Our first session is really about getting to know each other. I'll take time to understand what brought you in, what's been going on, and what you're hoping to get out of therapy. You can expect a relaxed, no-pressure conversation where your story matters and your pace sets the tone.
