Great to meet you!

Hi, I’m Aimee, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. I work with adults who feel overwhelmed, stuck, or unsure of what’s next—especially when anxiety, past experiences, or relationship stress are involved. In our sessions, you don’t have to have it all figured out—we’ll sort through it together in a way that feels real and manageable. I’ll support you while also helping you build tools you can actually use in everyday life.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is collaborative, practical, and tailored to you. I focus on helping you understand patterns in your thoughts, emotions, and relationships, while also giving you tools you can use in everyday life.

I draw from approaches like CBT, DBT, and trauma-informed therapy, but I don’t take a one-size-fits-all approach. Sessions are guided by your goals and what feels most helpful to you. I aim to create a space where you feel comfortable being honest, while also gently challenging you when needed so you can move forward.

My goal is for you to not just feel supported, but to leave sessions with more clarity, confidence, and direction.

What you can expect from me

The first session is really about getting a feel for each other. We’ll talk through what’s been going on and what made you decide to reach out now, without any pressure to share everything all at once.

I’ll ask some questions to understand the bigger picture, but it’ll feel like a conversation, not an interrogation. We’ll also start to get a sense of what you want to work on and what “better” might look like for you.

Most importantly, I want you to leave feeling comfortable, understood, and like this is a space where you can actually be real.
