Great to meet you!

My name is Aimee and I am a licensed clinical social worker with over 25 years of experience working in the mental health field. I have a masters degree in social work from Adelphi University and a bachelors degree in psychology from SUNY Cortland.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is from a strengths perspective and meeting each person where they are in their beliefs and skillset. I believe that the therapeutic process helps to build insight and self understanding. Expanding knowledge opens up opportunities for potential change.

What you can expect from me

Our time together will help us develop a relationship, communication, and goal setting. I believe that developing rapport and relationships is a process, not a report of events or background. The therapeutic process is a time to share and become acquainted with each other, develop trust, and mutual understanding.
