Great to meet you!

I have over 25 years of experience treating those struggling with substance use disorders, mental health, and relationship issues. My clients fall into two categories. Many clients are functioning just fine in many aspects of their lives but have some issues that keep them feeling stuck. There are also those whose lives are crashing down. There are no issues too big or too small that aren't worth exploring. Clients come with baggage in search of a lighter load. That is what we work on together.

My approach to therapy

I incorporate my knowledge of Psychodynamic Theory, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Addiction Treatment, Meditation/Mindfulness Practices, and Developmental Psychology, using an Integrative Therapy approach. I help clients identify their issues, gain insight into the patterns that are no longer serving them, come up with a game plan for a new approach, and then monitor progress. This model helps my clients see that change, as drastic or as slow as it may be, is possible.

What you can expect from me

I value a supportive, productive working relationship based on a feedback loop so that we can determine together what is most helpful. I focus on listening actively, identifying strengths, interpreting underlying issues and offering cognitive reframing.

I want to know your story. I am ready to offer an ear, a hand and a way forward.
