Aisha Gordon

I'm Aisha Gordon, LCSW, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and therapist. I earned my Master's of Social Work from the University of South Carolina in 2012. I've worked in the various settings providing mental health services in schools, homes, communities, and virtual settings. At Orchid Soul Wellness and Counseling Services, LLC, I specialize in treating issues in Maternal Mental Health, teens, and young adult women experiencing sadness, stress, anger, and worry due to life transitions and stressors.

I believe maternal mental health is a necessity for a healthy society. I support those affected by Perinatal Mood and Anxiety issues and the ebb and flow of the motherhood journey across all ages and stages (pregnancy-empty nester) by ensuring that they receive supportive, validating, and quality care.

Adolescents and young adult women that struggle with maladaptive perfectionism, negative self-perception, anxiety, depression, and loss of self-identity and self-worth.

My approach is to enter into a professional therapeutic relationship with (you) the client in which (I) the therapist assist you in exploring and resolving challenging life issues. I recognize we all are battling the stressors of life, and I want to help bring awareness and insight to those battles, while motivating you to make healthy changes. I am trained in Perinatal Mental health, CBT, EMDR, and Brainspotting and I will utilize my skills and knowledge to help you on your healing journey.
