Great to meet you!

I’m a licensed clinical psychologist who specializes in Posttraumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) and Prolonged Grief Disorder (PGD). I have over a decade of experience in providing science-backed treatments for trauma and grief, particularly Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), Prolonged Exposure (PE), and Prolonged Grief Disorder Treatment (PGDT). I have worked with folks from all walks of life including veterans and the LGBTQ+ community.

My approach to therapy

I take an active approach to therapy. I get in the weeds with my clients. We become a team in moving towards the goals they set for treatment. I value genuineness in my practice, and balance affirming my clients while gently challenging them to become the versions of themselves they seek to be.

What you can expect from me

My goal in therapy is for my clients to eventually become their own therapist. This involves practice work outside the session in order to promote change. Clients will take away specific skills each session to practice during the week. I want my clients to have tangible skills to utilize on a day to day basis to help support their goals.
