Great to meet you!

Child & Family Play Therapist & Perinatal Mental Health Specialist | Serving Glendale, AZ and the Northwest Valley | A Million Little Wonders LLC

You’re doing everything you can, and it still feels like too much. Maybe your nerves are raw, you’re feeling burned out, touched out, or resentful. Maybe your child is deeply feeling, anxious, or neurodivergent and the world doesn’t understand what they need. Maybe you’re adjusting to life with a new baby or you never had a safe model for parenting and you're trying to break old cycles with love and intention.

Parenting can be beautiful—and incredibly hard!

I support parents-to-be, young children (birth-9), & families through the messy, often unseen parts of life. Common concerns we navigate include: anxiety, sensory & emotional regulation, behavioral challenges, ADHD, parenting overwhelm, perinatal mental health, parent-child relationships, separation anxiety, grief & loss, adjusting to life changes, & trauma.

Perfect doesn’t belong here. Therapy isn’t about fixing—it’s about feeling safe, seen, and supported. Here, play has purpose, every behavior tells a story, big feelings are welcome, and parents get support—not shame—at a pace that fits your family's rhythm. You’re not meant to do this alone—I’ll be here to support and encourage you every step of the way.

My approach to therapy

My approach is relational, developmentally grounded, and rooted in attachment, neuroscience, and the belief that healing happens in safe, connected relationships.

I believe in the magic of play and the power of connection not the everything's perfect kind, but the kind that builds resilience and trust. It's about those quiet a-ha moments when we feel seen and heard, reminding us we're doing our best, even when it doesn't feel like it. It's about being curious, intentional, and showing up, even on the hard days.

With infants and young children, therapy is playful and non-directive. We use imaginary play, art, movement, stories, and sensory-based tools to follow their lead, build co-regulation, and support emotional development. With parents and caregivers, sessions offer space to process, reflect, and find practical tools—free of shame or pressure to be perfect.

What you can expect from me

Therapy with children and their families can help decrease tantrums and emotional outbursts, improve children’s ability to handle frustration and change, improve sleep, focus, and school performance, improve their confidence and emotional awareness, create stronger relationships with parents and peers, & help them heal from past trauma or difficult experiences.

Therapy for parents and caregivers can lead to better communication, stronger relationships, improved child behavior, a greater self-awareness, reduced stress and anxiety, healing from past wounds, and feeling more confident, empowered, and present in your role as a parent, enjoying the journey more fully.

Perinatal mental health therapy can help parents-to-be prior to birth cope with anxiety or intrusive thoughts, prepare mentally and emotionally for labor and delivery, process fears around childbirth or medical interventions, navigate shifts in your relationship, address past trauma or loss that’s resurfacing, explore your expectations, hopes, and worries around parenthood, and build emotional resilience before the baby arrives. After birth it can help parents manage mood swings, anxiety, depression, or anger, cope with intrusive thoughts or scary mental images, process a difficult or traumatic birth experience, heal from medical complications or NICU stays, explore your new identity and relationship to your body, rebuild connection with your partner or support system, navigate the emotional rollercoaster of sleep deprivation, feeding challenges, or isolation, and make space for unexpected emotions. It can help partners manage stress, overwhelm, or burnout, strengthen communication and teamwork in parenting, support a loved one experiencing postpartum mental health challenges, navigate changes in intimacy, roles, and expectations, process feelings of helplessness, resentment, or disconnection, & find their own voice in this season of transition.
