Great to meet you!

I am a licensed clinical social worker with 25 years of experience supporting women, individuals, and couples through relationship challenges, marriage concerns, life transitions, boundaries, anxiety, depression, OCD, and patterns that can leave them feeling stuck. A significant part of my work has focused on helping women reconnect with themselves, better understand their needs, and create healthier ways of relating to the people and responsibilities in their lives.

I also have specialized training in Exposure and Response Prevention for OCD and experience helping clients navigate anxiety, intrusive thoughts, chronic worry, and depression. I bring a warm, grounded, and practical approach that considers the whole person, including their relationships, identity, experiences, and the life they are trying to create.

My approach to therapy

My style is warm, conversational, direct, and collaborative. I want therapy to feel like a space where you can be honest without fear of judgment, while also being supported in making meaningful change. Together, we will look at the patterns beneath the surface, understand what may be keeping you stuck, and explore new ways of responding to yourself, your relationships, and the challenges you are facing. I believe insight is important, but I also want therapy to help you create changes you can actually experience in your everyday life.

What you can expect from me

Our first session is about beginning to understand what brings you to therapy, what has been feeling most important or difficult, and where you would like to focus. We will talk about your current concerns, what you hope to get from therapy, and anything you feel is important for me to know as we get started.

I may offer some initial impressions about what could be helpful, while also taking time to learn more about you and what you need from the process. My goal is for you to leave the first session feeling heard, supported, and clearer about how we might move forward together.
