Great to meet you!

I have an Asian Indian background. Choosing a career in clinical psychology was influenced by intense feelings of empathy towards emotionally and physically challenged individuals during my childhood. I felt like a career in clinical psychology would allow me to impact their lives directly positively. I currently practice from my home office through teletherapy sessions on Zoom. I am happily married and have two children.

A bit about my approach to therapy

I have been a clinical psychologist in practice for 16 years. I use an integrative approach to psychotherapy that draws on various methods in symptom management, personal growth, and empowerment. I enjoy working with adults of all ages and cultural backgrounds. I have expertise in helping individuals from diverse, multicultural origins who present with many mental and physical health challenges.

What you can expect from our first session

You will feel emotionally safe and comfortable in our virtual sessions. My clients have expressed surprise as to how easily they are able to form a warm, trusting rapport during the first visit and able to maintain that. They have also expressed appreciation of the concept and practice of mindfulness in daily life in managing thoughts, having a higher sense of empowerment through specific examples of personal resilience, and coping skills deepening.
