Great to meet you!

You don’t have to have it all figured out to start therapy with me. Many of the people I work with are used to being the strong one showing up for others while quietly carrying stress, pressure, or emotional weight on their own.

What you should know about me is that I create a space where you don’t have to perform or hold it all together. You can show up exactly as you are. My approach is warm, collaborative, and grounded in helping you feel both supported and understood, while also working toward meaningful, practical change.

I bring over 17 years of experience, including extensive work in trauma, crisis response, and high-demand environments. I understand how life experiences, culture, and expectations shape how we cope—and how hard it can be to ask for support.

Clients often tell me they feel comfortable being honest in our sessions and that they leave with both insight and tools they can actually use.

Most importantly, I want you to know that therapy with me is not about judgment it’s about helping you make sense of what you’re experiencing and finding a way forward that feels more manageable and sustainable.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is collaborative, culturally responsive, and grounded in creating a space where you feel safe enough to be honest about what you’re experiencing.

I don’t believe therapy should feel like something being done to you it’s something we work through together. I take time to understand your experiences, your strengths, and what’s most important to you, and then we build a path forward that feels realistic and supportive.

I use a trauma-informed approach, which means we go at a pace that feels manageable while also helping you make meaningful progress. Depending on your needs, our work may include processing past experiences, identifying patterns, building coping strategies, and developing tools you can use in your day-to-day life.

My style is warm, direct, and supportive. I will meet you with compassion, and I will also gently challenge you when needed so that you can move toward the changes you’re looking for.

Ultimately, my goal is to help you not just get through things, but to feel more grounded, clear, and able to move forward in a way that is sustainable.

What you can expect from me

Clients can expect sessions to feel like a space where they can slow down, be honest, and not have to carry everything alone.

In our sessions, we’ll focus on what feels most important to you whether that’s something happening right now or patterns that have been building over time. I’ll help you make sense of what you’re experiencing, connect the dots, and begin to identify what needs to shift.

Sessions are both supportive and practical. You’ll have space to talk things through, and you’ll also leave with insight, tools, or strategies you can apply in your daily life. Some sessions may focus more on processing and understanding, while others may be more focused on problem-solving and next steps.

I also pay attention to pacing. We move at a speed that feels manageable for you, while still making meaningful progress.

Over time, clients often notice they feel more grounded, clearer in their thinking, and better able to navigate stress, relationships, and life transitions in a way that feels more sustainable.
