Great to meet you!

I am a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) with more than 20 years of nursing experience.

My goal is to create a safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental environment where clients feel heard, respected, and empowered to participate in their treatment. I believe that every person deserves individualized care that addresses their unique emotional, psychological, and social needs.

I am committed to helping clients achieve improved mental wellness, greater resilience, and a better quality of life through evidence-based treatment and collaborative decision-making.

My approach to therapy

My approach to care is holistic, collaborative, and evidence-based. I believe in treating the whole person rather than focusing solely on symptoms. I work closely with clients to understand their experiences, goals, cultural background, and personal strengths in order to develop individualized treatment plans.

My practice incorporates comprehensive psychiatric evaluations, medication management, psychoeducation, and therapeutic techniques, including cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), motivational interviewing, and trauma-informed care. I encourage open communication and shared decision-making so that clients feel actively involved in their treatment journey.

My objective is to provide compassionate care that promotes emotional well-being, symptom management, and long-term recovery.

What you can expect from me

I offer a complimentary 15-minute consultation to help prospective clients determine whether my practice is the right fit for their needs. During this consultation, clients can expect a warm, welcoming, and confidential space. We will briefly discuss your concerns, treatment goals, and answer any questions you may have about my services and approach to care.

If you decide to move forward, the initial appointment will involve a comprehensive psychiatric evaluation, including a review of your medical and mental health history, current symptoms, medications, and personal goals. Together, we will create a personalized treatment plan designed to support your mental health journey. My priority is to ensure that every client feels heard, respected, and supported from the very beginning.
