Great to meet you!

I consider myself to be a light-hearted, nonjudgmental, and compassionate therapist. I'm very big on inviting all aspects of you — your identities, traditions, cultures, and rituals — into our work together. I'm always open to your feedback when deciding what works (and what doesn't work for you) and encourage you to be open and the leader in your own therapy. After all, you're the expert when it comes to you!

A bit about my approach to therapy

I help people make sense of their grief, heal the potential traumas and emotional wounds associated with their loss, and aid in transforming and redefining their future. A huge goal of mine is to help my clients change the stories they tell themselves, since the meaning they derive from what’s happened, is happening, and what will happen can determine what role they play in their own lives. It's very empowering for clients when they realize they are ultimately in control of their own narrative.

What you can expect from our first session

When a client comes for services, I look at them with compassion, listen to them with genuine curiosity and attention, and consider them as collaborative, equal participants in their own healing.

I myself am just a person who is also a part of community: having my role and also healing. When doing therapy, I bring my openness, curiosity, humor, and empathy into sessions as I help clients in sharing their stories, developing insight, and gaining the skills needed for their own healing process.
