Great to meet you!

Life can feel overwhelming when the ways we’ve learned to cope stop working as well as they once did. Whether you are navigating anxiety, depression, grief, trauma, addiction, relationship struggles, or parenting challenges, therapy can provide a space to slow down, gain clarity, and reconnect with what matters most. Alan believes counseling should feel safe, genuine, and free of judgment—a place where people can show up honestly and begin moving toward healing and growth.

Before becoming a therapist, Alan spent 15 years in law enforcement, supporting individuals and families through some of the most difficult moments of their lives. That experience shaped his deep respect for resilience, personal struggle, and the importance of human connection. He later earned his master’s degree in counseling and has since worked with individuals, couples, and families facing challenges related to grief, divorce, marriage, parenting, trauma, and family conflict.

Alan’s approach is steady, compassionate, and practical. He works collaboratively with clients to help them build healthier patterns, strengthen relationships, and create a greater sense of balance and purpose in their lives.

Outside the office, Alan enjoys spending time outdoors, especially hiking and camping with his wife and their little dog. During the winter months, he enjoys ice fishing with friends. He believes that even in life’s hardest seasons, there is always hope—and that healing begins through authentic connection.
