Great to meet you!

I'm a Brooklyn-bred Psychotherapist/Counselor and a bit of a character. I earned my LCSW in 2009, and previously worked in the corporate world. I understand pressure, ambition, career transitions, and what it feels like when the thing you've built your identity around stops fitting. Since becoming a therapist, I've worked in hospitals, outpatient clinics, substance abuse treatment, and psych rehab before settling into private practice, where I've been focused on the work I care most about.

I have a particular passion for working with men, especially guys in their 20s and 30s. A lot of the young men I see are dealing with something the research is only now catching up to — an erosion of in-person connection, a sense of drift, and a shortage of spaces where they can actually say what's going on. I'm genuinely excited and motivated by this work because I believe this generation of men needs — and deserves — real support. That said, I also welcome clients navigating anxiety, discouragement, depression, workplace stress, relationship dynamics, and life transitions of all kinds.

My approach to therapy

I'd describe my style as integrative, intuitive, and solution-focused. I borrow from a lot of different toolboxes — cognitive-behavioral techniques, mindfulness practices, and whatever else fits best for the person in front of me — because no two people show up with the same story. I wear my heart on my sleeve, and I think clients deserve the same honesty in return. The guiding principle of my practice is simple: to relieve suffering and impart joy. When you're actively engaged in the process, that's actually possible — and we'll work toward it together.

What you can expect from me

Our first meeting is a conversation, not an interrogation. I'll want to understand what's bringing you in, what you've already tried, and what a better version of your life would actually look like. You'll get a sense of my style — direct, a little irreverent, warm — and we'll talk honestly about whether I'm the right fit for you. I offer a free consultation before we ever schedule a full session, so there's no pressure and no guessing. If we're a match, great. If not, I'd rather help you find the right person than waste your time.
