Great to meet you!

I grew up playing Baseball in southern California. As I developed my skills on a Baseball field, I simultaneously developed my skills for getting into trouble with the law. By my senior year in high school, I knew what it meant to have opportunities slip away due to the consequences of my poor behavior in my community.

On the heels of getting arrested in my senior year of high school (2007), I decided to turn my life around and explore a path of peace and serenity. It would be another decade before I found my way to a 12-step recovery group, but the decision to focus on my mental health at a young age saved my life and opened the doorway to my future.

Since 2007, I have received a bachelor’s degree in speech communications from the University of La Verne, my Master of Science in Clinical Psychology from Vanguard University of Southern California and am currently finishing my Doctorate in Clinical Psychology from California Southern University. As fancy as it sounds, the truth is I am still the same guy that knows what it means to struggle profoundly and strive for a better future.

If you are ready to make a shift in your life, to turn your life around, and to make new decisions that lead to positive outcomes then I am your therapist. I will speak with you plainly and shoot straight with you about the changes that can be made. I believe in honesty, transparency, and downright hard work. I am ready to walk with you in your journey, if you are ready to begin your journey to peace and serenity then I am ready to guide you, support you and offer direct feedback on your path.

“Until you value yourself, you won't value your time. Until you value your time, you will not do anything with it.” M. Scott Peck

My approach to therapy

I am a Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist and 12-Step Recovery Advocate. I am fully qualified and insured and have over a decade of experience.

My aim is to help friends and family members of Alcoholics as well as the Alcoholic (or addict), overcome the unique challenges that arise through the family disease of Alcoholism.

I’m a caring professional and I love helping my clients find their strength and hope. I am fully committed to my own personal and professional development, as well as my spiritual growth through my active involvement in Al-Anon 12-Step Recovery Support Meetings.

I regularly speak on the topic of recovery in hopes of spreading knowledge and education about the Strength & Hope of those who have found recovery.

I believe that life is suffering but embracing our suffering and connecting with a message of hope, will lead to a strength that is beyond your wildest imagination. I want to walk with you as you find your strength and hope.
