Great to meet you!

Hello! Taking the step to begin therapy is a meaningful decision and finding a provider who fits your needs is an essential first step. As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), my goal is to build a collaborative, secure, and supportive environment when you are able to speak openly and feel heard as we make progress toward your goals in therapy as well as life. My background includes work across structured clinical settings including partial hospitalization programs as well as outpatient therapy. I have gained experience working with client from diverse populations and diagnoses including anxiety and stress, depression and mood changes, major life transitions and burnout, relationships and communication, and emotional regulation.

My approach to therapy

My approach is collaborative: you are in the driver's seat of your growth, while I provide guidance, stability, and practical skills you can carry with you long after therapy ends.

I tailor my work to each individual, taking a proactive and direct approach so our time feels active and meaningful, helping you prevent stagnation and build real-world progress inside and outside of sessions.

To support your specific needs, I draw from a range of evidence-based modalities, including;

-Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT)

-Parts Therapy (IFS) and Schema-Focused Approaches

-Trauma-Informed and Developmental Approaches

-Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavioral (DBT) skills

-Narrative Therapy

Above all, I aim to be a trusted ally. You hold the power over the pace of your therapeutic journey, allowing us to balance your comfort while consistently working toward growth.

What you can expect from me

During our first session, we will go through initial assessment questions so I can get a clear "lay of the land" and understand any challenges you may be facing. This holistic perspective ensures we set the right foundation for your long-term success.

While I do need to gather history and information, I strive to keep the intake process natural and conversational rather than reading questions verbatim off a checklist or relying purely on small talk.

We will strike a balance between getting to know one another and identifying the concrete goals and meaningful growth you want to achieve through our work together.
