I specialize in helping folks facing relationship issues, identity struggles, social anxiety, family of origin struggles, anxiety, and depression. I also specialize in couples and group therapy. I also have a passion for working with creatives, whether that be actors, filmmakers, musicians, or artists of all kinds and helping with the unique struggles they face.
I bring warmth, acceptance, & empathy into my work. I believe that in our early life or in times of great difficulty or trauma we do what is necessary to survive & while these tactics were once essential for us to cope, they can come to no longer serve us.
I help clients uncover how these tactics they once needed to employ may now be blocking their full aliveness, connection to others, & their emotional experience. I support clients in processing emotions they may never have previously felt safe enough to explore, which allows for the discovery of more nourishing ways of relating to themselves and others.
I have extensive training in AEDP, EFT, Gestalt, and Modern Analytic group therapy.
Clients can expect to take away a deep felt sense of my care, a deeper understanding of themselves, access to core emotions they were previously unable to access and metabolize, the processing of past traumas, the impact of system oppression on their psyche, and more compassion for who they are.
