Great to meet you!

Hello and welcome! I’m Dr. Alana Ribowsky, a Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) and board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP). I earned my DNP from Columbia University and specialize in therapy and medication management for adults. I treat anxiety, depression, ADHD, bipolar disorder, and psychotic spectrum illnesses.

While I incorporate supportive therapy into sessions, my primary focus is psychiatric medication management for adults navigating mood, anxiety, and attention-related concerns. My approach is compassionate and collaborative, creating a warm, supportive space where clients feel heard, valued, and empowered.

My approach to therapy

I take a holistic approach to mental health care, focusing on the whole person rather than just symptoms. I consider emotional, physical, and social well-being when tailoring treatment plans to each individual’s unique needs. Through medication management, therapy and mindfulness strategies, I strive to meet clients where they are and foster a supportive, compassionate environment. My goal is to empower clients to achieve balance, resilience, and long-term wellness in every area of their lives.

What you can expect from me

Clients can expect to leave sessions feeling heard, supported, and equipped with practical tools to navigate their mental health journey. My goal is to create a safe, non-judgmental space where clients can explore their thoughts and emotions openly. We will develop personalized strategies to foster growth, resilience, and balance. Whether through therapy, medication management, or both, I aim to empower clients with insights and resources to achieve long-term well-being and self-understanding.
