Alanna Cruz

Hi! My name is Alanna and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with 10 years of experience working with children, adolescents, adults and families. I have supported clients in a variety of settings including child welfare, crisis intervention, acute care hospitals, partial/intensive outpatient hospitalization and outpatient individual/group therapy.

My practice includes supporting individuals who find themselves feeling overwhelmed, anxious, or stuck in unhealthy yet familiar patterns of people-pleasing. My clients may feel lost in their relationships, disconnected from their true identity, and burdened by the pressure to keep everyone else happy.

I strive to promote authenticity, empathy and transparency in a safe, supportive and empowering environment. I believe in taking a collaborative approach by working at your pace but also challenging you to push past your comfort zone to achieve your goals. I utilize multiple evidenced-based approaches and provide psycho-education on the how, what and why behind your thoughts and behaviors.

My goal is to provide a space where you can reconnect with yourself and, begin to untangle the patterns that no longer serve you. Together, we'll work to help you build self-trust, strengthen your sense of identity, and create healthier, more fulfilling relationships- starting with the one you have with yourself.
