Great to meet you!

Hi, I'm Alanna, a Licensed Mental Health Counselor providing telehealth therapy for adults across Florida. I work with individuals experiencing anxiety, ADHD, depression, trauma, and life transitions, especially those who feel stuck in patterns of overthinking, people-pleasing, burnout, emotional overwhelm, perfectionism, or difficulty with focus and follow-through.

Many of the people I work with appear to be managing life on the outside while privately struggling with self-criticism, low self-worth, intrusive or racing thoughts, chronic stress, or the mental exhaustion that comes from feeling like you always have to keep it together. Others come to therapy feeling overwhelmed, disconnected from themselves, or unsure why life feels harder than it seems to for everyone else.

I also have a special interest in supporting individuals navigating the emotional impact of PCOS and other chronic health or hormonal conditions, including challenges related to body image, fatigue, mood changes, stress, and adjusting to life with an ongoing medical condition. If you've been thinking about therapy but aren't quite sure where to start, that's okay. Whether you're ready to begin or simply have questions about how therapy works, feel free to reach out. I'd be happy to talk with you, answer your questions, and help you determine whether working together feels like a good fit.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is warm, collaborative, and tailored to each client’s individual needs. I integrate evidence-based techniques such as CBT, DBT, mindfulness, and IFS within a trauma-informed framework. My goal is to help clients build self-awareness, emotional regulation, and confidence while creating a safe space for reflection and growth. I believe therapy should feel supportive, nonjudgmental, and empowering as you work toward lasting change.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, I’ll take time to get to know you and understand what brings you to therapy, whether it’s an immediate concern or a more general desire to improve your well-being. We’ll discuss what you’d like to focus on, explore what’s been challenging, and begin setting goals together. My approach is relaxed and supportive, with the goal of building trust and creating a safe space where you can feel comfortable opening up as we begin this process.
