Great to meet you!

Life can feel overwhelming, especially when you're juggling work, relationships, parenting, anxiety, stress, or simply trying to keep up with the demands of everyday life. You may find yourself exhausted, stuck in old patterns, questioning your next steps, or feeling like you're carrying more than anyone realizes.

I specialize in working with adults, parents, and children navigating anxiety, ADHD, life transitions, parenting challenges, self-esteem concerns, and relationship stress. Many of my clients are busy moms and caregivers who spend so much time taking care of everyone else that they've forgotten how to care for themselves.

My approach is warm, practical, and down-to-earth. Therapy doesn't have to feel intimidating or overly clinical. I believe in creating a space where you can be yourself, feel understood, and develop realistic strategies that work in your actual life—not just in theory.

Whether you're struggling with anxiety, feeling overwhelmed by parenting, helping a child with big emotions, or navigating a major life change, you don't have to do it alone. My goal is to help you find clarity, confidence, and a little more breathing room so that life feels manageable again.

My approach to therapy

My approach is direct, supportive, and practical. I want you to leave sessions feeling like you have both a better understanding of what’s going on and tools you can actually use in your day-to-day life.

For children, I incorporate play-based and developmentally appropriate approaches to help them express and process what they’re experiencing in a way that feels natural to them.

Starting therapy can feel like a big step—but it doesn’t have to be overwhelming. If you’re considering reaching out, I’m happy to help guide you through the process and answer any questions along the way.

What you can expect from me

Your first session is really about getting to know you and what’s been going on in your life. We’ll talk through what’s bringing you in, any concerns you have, and what you’re hoping to get out of therapy.

There’s no pressure to have everything figured out or to share more than you’re comfortable with. You can go at your own pace.

I’ll ask some questions to better understand your background, current stressors, and what support might look like for you. By the end of the session, we’ll start to get a sense of goals and what working together could look like moving forward.

If you’re bringing in a child, the first session may include time with you as the parent as well as time focused on your child’s needs. I’ll also walk you through how play-based therapy works and answer any questions you have.

Most importantly, this is a space where you can feel comfortable, supported, and not judged. Starting therapy can feel like a big step, and my goal is to make that first experience feel as easy and welcoming as possible.
