Great to meet you!

I’m a New Orleans native who enjoys spending time with my family, being creative, and learning new things. Outside of therapy, you can usually find me working on an embroidery project, crafting with my Cricut, or learning how to sew. I enjoy finding new creative outlets and, like many people, balancing the different roles and responsibilities that come with everyday life.

Professionally, I earned my PhD in Counseling Psychology from the University of Wisconsin–Milwaukee and am a Licensed Professional Counselor in both Louisiana and Wisconsin. I have experience working with adolescents and adults navigating concerns such as anxiety, depression, stress, relationship difficulties, life transitions, and emotion regulation.

I believe that who we are outside of our challenges matters, and I bring that perspective into therapy. My goal is to create a comfortable and open space where you can be yourself, feel understood, and also be challenged to grow.

My approach to therapy

My primary approach to therapy is Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), which focuses on understanding how our thoughts, emotions, and behaviors are connected. I work collaboratively with clients to identify patterns that may be contributing to distress and develop practical strategies for creating change. My style is open-minded and affirming, but I also believe therapy should challenge you when needed. I want you to feel supported while also helping you recognize patterns, consider different perspectives, and take steps toward the changes you want to make.

What you can expect from me

Our first session is an opportunity for us to get to know one another and begin identifying what you would like to gain from therapy. We’ll discuss what brought you to therapy, relevant experiences and concerns, and the areas of your life you would like to improve. You don’t need to have everything figured out before you arrive. We’ll work together to establish goals and determine what approach will be most helpful for you moving forward.
