Great to meet you!

Welcome—I'm so glad you're here. Whether you’re navigating a life transition, processing deep emotional wounds, or simply seeking a safe space to be heard, I’m here to support you. I’m a bilingual, neurodivergent, culturally-affirming National Certified Mental Health Counselor, licensed in Virginia and Florida, with 25+ years of experience guiding individuals through healing and growth. My approach is compassionate, personalized, and rooted in evidence-based practices.

I believe therapy is a powerful way to reconnect with your inner strength. If you're considering taking that step, I'd be honored to connect.

I currently work with individuals aged 18 and older.

My approach to therapy

I hold a Master of Science in Counseling, a specialization in Project Management, and a Bachelor of Science in Psychology. My training includes evidence-based approaches like CBT (Post-Disaster), Trauma-Focused CBT, Circle of Security, and the Nurturing Parents Program. I also carry certifications in Trauma and Resilience, Emotional Regulatory Healing, and Maternal Mental Health.

My practice is tailored to your individual needs, addressing challenges such as trauma, anxiety, depression, parenting, relationship issues, perinatal and postnatal mood disorders, grief, cultural adjustment, and more.

You’ll find a safe, compassionate, and nonjudgmental space here—one that gently challenges you to grow your mindset and reconnect with your sense of wholeness.

What you can expect from me

I’m a caring clinician who offers a non-judgmental, supportive, compassionate, and empathetic space. In our sessions, patients can build trust, feel challenged in healthy ways, and work on developing a growth mindset to become the best versions of themselves. I also offer free phone consultations to see if we’re a good match.
