Great to meet you!

Hello there, my number one priority is to see clients within 1 to 5 business days to begin the process of assisting them with a hot topic known as "Life-ing." Today, I consider myself blessed because I find it rewarding in seeing clients reach their maximum potential. In addition to my mental health background for over 28 years, I have my own life experiences, coupled with being married to a minister, motherhood, and personal trauma, which have proven to be beneficial in my scope of practice.

I have done extensive work with grief/loss, anxiety, relational, premarital, substance use, and Christian Counseling.

My approach to therapy

In my work with clients, I approach therapy from a holistic perspective, recognizing that every aspect of a person’s life is interconnected—physical, emotional, social, mental, and spiritual well-being.

My therapeutic approaches include Person-Centered Therapy, Solution-Focused Brief Therapy, and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). I am passionate about supporting individuals through grief and loss, an area in which I hold a specialized certification. Additionally, I am licensed as a Substance Addictions Counselor, which affords me the opportunity to address complex challenges related to addiction with compassion and evidence-based care.

What you can expect from me

Clients are expected to receive from Pure Serenity Counseling, LLC? A safe, private, and non-judgmental type setting to support and address their emotional needs and personal goals. And yes—expect a little humor along the way, because laughter is truly good for the soul.

Additionally, my practice also focuses on five core areas, to include, Forgiveness, Processing Emotions, Affirmations, Gratitude and Faith. I believe if clients are able to successfully navigate within these core areas, then they are better equipped to experience meaningful growth and achieve effective, lasting therapeutic outcomes.
