My name is Alberto Vital, and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW). I have worked in community mental health and crisis services for over eight years supporting a diverse group of clients experiencing a variety of mental health challenges. Over the years, I have realized that I enjoy working with adolescents and young adults struggling with anxiety, depression, suicide, crises, trauma, and phobias.
My approach to therapy is warm and inviting. I always focus on building rapport from the start, as having a strong therapeutic relationship is essential to making progress in therapy. I strive to maintain flexibility during sessions in order to meet you where you are at, offering both a person-centered approach along with more directive, guiding modalities through cognitive behavioral therapy. Whatever you're hoping to get out of therapy, I'll be there to help you reach your goals.

I want to build a trusting relationship where you feel you can talk with me about anything going on in your life that has caused pain, sadness, discomfort, or confusion. You can expect me to fully listen and engage with you about what we can work on together and what goals you want to achieve. My main goal for the first session is to make sure you feel comfortable and trusting in the work we will do together.
