Great to meet you!

I have worked with individuals with a wide range of difficulties including mood disorders, anxiety and trauma and have also worked with individuals dealing with loss and facing varying life transitions. My certifications include a post graduate certification from the Training Institute for Mental Health as well as a master’s degree from the Smith College School for Social Work.

My approach to therapy

My goal as your therapist is to create a safe, positive and collaborative environment that fosters exploration, promotes healing and encourages change. I aim to provide a non-judgmental space, using compassionate listening to aid you in discussing the feelings or difficulties that you may be experiencing. My approach is an ecelctic one that uses multicultural, psychodynamic, psychoanalytic and behavioral strategies and skills to assist you in this process.

What you can expect from me

My practice is grounded in the belief in the transformative power of talk therapy, relatedness and self-discovery as a guide to healing, change and overall wellness. It is my hope to work with you to identify and name difficult experiences and create helpful and manageable steps to address and overcome them.
