Great to meet you!

Hello, I’m Alda Minozzo, a Licensed Mental Health Counselor who works with adolescents, adults, and families facing challenges such as anxiety, depression, stress, life transitions, and relationship or family conflicts.

I specialize in supporting individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder (Level 1 Support Needs), helping them develop social skills, emotional regulation, self-advocacy, and practical coping strategies to navigate everyday life with greater confidence and independence.

My approach is compassionate, collaborative, and tailored to each client's unique needs. I strive to create a safe, supportive environment where clients can explore challenges, build resilience, and achieve meaningful personal growth.

I also hold a Master’s degree in Christian Counseling and offer faith-based therapy for clients who wish to incorporate biblical principles into their healing journey. My goal is to help clients strengthen their emotional well-being, improve relationships, and develop the tools needed to thrive.

My approach to therapy

Specialties: Anxiety, Depression, Autism Spectrum Disorder (Level 1), Emotional Regulation, Social Skills Development, Family Conflict, Relationship Issues, Life Transitions, Christian Counseling, and Stress Management.

What you can expect from me

During our first session, you can expect a welcoming, supportive, and nonjudgmental environment where we will begin getting to know one another. This session is an opportunity for you to share what brings you to therapy, discuss your current concerns, and explore the goals you would like to achieve.

I will ask questions about your emotional, personal, family, and life experiences to better understand your unique situation and identify your strengths, challenges, and needs. Together, we will begin developing a treatment plan tailored to your goals and circumstances.

My approach is collaborative and client-centered. You are encouraged to share at your own pace, and there is no pressure to discuss anything before you feel ready. My goal is to help you feel heard, understood, and supported while creating a safe space for growth and healing.

By the end of the session, you can expect to have a clearer understanding of the therapeutic process, an opportunity to ask questions, and an initial roadmap for our work together.
