My approach to therapy is rooted in warmth, authenticity, and the belief that healing cannot be separated from the worlds we live in. I strive to create an affirming space where all emotions—including anger, sadness, and grief—are welcome, and where we can explore not only what hurts, but the personal, relational, and systemic forces that have shaped your experiences. I am as kind as I am direct, using evidence-based interventions to help you challenge the stories, beliefs, and patterns that may keep you feeling stuck.
I draw from Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT) to explore how trauma shapes beliefs about yourself, others, and the world, making room for new perspectives. Through Enhanced Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for Eating Disorders (CBT-E), we can examine how body image concerns, emotions, and dietary restraint affect your relationship with food and your body. I also incorporate Narrative Therapy to help you re-author the stories of your life, alongside Strengths-Based, Relational, and Multi-Systemic approaches that honor your intersecting identities, relationships, and broader social context.
With over four years of experience supporting people navigating systemic oppression, stigma, trauma, eating disorders and disordered eating, identity concerns, and more, I recognize that you are more than the challenges you face or the labels placed upon you. Together, we can make sense of the stories you've inherited, reconnect with your strengths, challenge what no longer serves you, and cultivate a relationship with yourself that feels more compassionate, authentic, and free.
